Dr. Horatio Eustis is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Ochsner Health and practices at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Eustis completed his internship at Ochsner Health and his ophthalmology residency at LSU Eye Center, followed by fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and the Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. He also studied strabismus (or the misalignment of the eyes or crossed eyes) at the Wilmer Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Eustis is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been on staff at Ochsner Health since 1986. A well-known pediatric ophthalmologist, he has over 35 scientific publications and over 70 presentations to his credit. Dr. Eustis holds Clinical Associate Professorships in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
