Biography
Dr. James Barrow provides a full spectrum of women’s services including high-risk and general pregnancy care, preventive services, wellness screenings, minimally invasive surgical procedures including robotic hysterectomies and obesity management.
Upon completing his residency, Dr. Barrow spent the next six years in academic medicine at LSU Shreveport, training medical students in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology while running his own private practice.
During his free time, Dr. Barrow enjoys cycling and other outdoor activities.

I do not know if treatment will change, I received a diagnosis after the appointment which may change my treatment plan. I am not yet able to answer questions about treatment or care because we thought we were dealing with one condition, but we are dealing with at least two conditions. Though I feel much better than I have in years because of Dr. Barrow, I would definitely recommend him.
