Biography
Kelly Ked Dixon, LCSW-BACS (pronouns she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and family therapy. Ked is a Registered Play Therapist and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She specializes in anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, issues surround divorce and co-parenting, grief, bereavement. trauma and issues relating to GLBTAI+. In addition to her clinical duties, Ked is an adjunct professor at the Tulane School of Social Work. She is also a member of EMDRIA, NASW and The Association for Play Therapy. Ked's education and training include a Master of Social Work from Tulane School of Social Work 2010; Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2014; Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor since 2017; Registered Play Therapist since 2018; and Emdria Certified Therapist since 2018.
