Shamir Hasan, DO, is a kidney specialist at Ochsner Health Center – Southern Vascular. After completing his undergraduate work at UCLA, Dr. Hasan earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dr. Hasan completed his internal medicine residency at Stony Book at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, New York, and a fellowship in nephrology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He completed an interventional nephrology fellowship from Louisiana State University.
