Ochsner Medical Center – West Bank offers convenient dining options for patients, visitors and staff.
- Café 504: Located on the first floor, Café 504 serves a variety of meals, including grill items, hot entrees, sandwiches and salads.
Hours:- Breakfast: 7 a.m.–9:30 a.m. (Monday–Friday)
- Lunch: 11 a.m.–2 p.m. (Monday–Friday)
- PJ’s Coffee Kiosk: Located in the front lobby, PJ’s offers freshly brewed coffee and snacks.
Hours:- Monday–Friday: 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Saturday–Sunday: 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Gift shop
Our gift shop carries a wide selection of gifts, including balloon bouquets, flowers, plant arrangements, cards and more for people of all ages. Proceeds support Ochsner’s research initiatives.

Food and nutrition services
We accommodate special dietary needs upon request, including kosher, vegetarian and other special food requests. Patients can also enjoy room service, with freshly prepared meals delivered within 30–45 minutes.
Pastoral care services
Our hospital chaplain and extraordinary ministers of holy communion provide spiritual support and sacramental ministry. A chapel is located on the second floor near the family unit waiting room.

Television, telephone and Wi-Fi services
All patient rooms are equipped with televisions, telephones and wireless internet. Services for hearing-impaired individuals, including telecommunication devices (TDDs), assistive listening devices (ALDs), and closed captioning, are available at no cost.
Special services, hard of hearing and interpretive services
We are committed to providing accessible care for all patients. Services include:
- Syringe magnifiers
- Flat magnifiers
- Large print materials such as communication cards and pictographs
- Diabetes education materials
- DVDs with detailed audio content for diabetic education
- Braille indicators are throughout the facility for elevators
- Directional signage
- Handicapped parking spaces
Interpreter services are available free of charge for patients with limited English proficiency or hearing impairments. Please notify us in advance if you require these services.

Parking
Parking in the hospital garage is free. Emergency department patients and their families may park in the lot near the emergency and registration entrances.
